What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, phone, tablet) when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences, login status, and provide analytics.
Example: When you log into SpiderLabs, we store an authentication cookie so you don't have to log in every time you switch pages. We also remember your theme preference (dark mode vs light mode).
Types of Cookies We Use

These cookies are necessary for the platform to function and cannot be disabled.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| sb-access-token | Supabase authentication token | 7 days |
| sb-refresh-token | Keeps you logged in | 60 days |

These cookies remember your preferences to enhance your experience. Can be disabled.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |

Analytics Cookies
We do not currently set any third-party analytics cookies. If we add an analytics tool in the future, we will list its cookies here and ask for consent where required before any are set.
Marketing Cookies
We do not currently use marketing/advertising cookies. If we add them in the future, you will be asked for explicit consent.
Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies are set by third-party services we integrate with:
Supabase (Authentication)
- Sets authentication tokens for login sessions
- Required for security and cannot be disabled
- Supabase Privacy Policy
Stripe (Payment Processing)
- Sets cookies during checkout for fraud prevention
- Essential for payment security
- Stripe Privacy Policy
Vercel (Hosting)
- Sets performance and analytics cookies
- Used for CDN optimization and DDoS protection
- Vercel Privacy Policy
How to Manage Cookies
Because we do not currently set analytics or marketing cookies, there is no consent banner: the only cookies in use are the essential and preference cookies listed above. If we add cookies that require consent in the future, we will ask before setting them.
Browser Settings
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies
Warning: Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging into SpiderLabs. The platform will not function properly without authentication cookies.
Do Not Track (DNT)
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because we do not set analytics or marketing cookies, there is no tracking to disable in response to DNT today. Essential and preference cookies remain active because the platform cannot function without them. If we add analytics in the future, we will state how DNT is handled here.
Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last revised.
Material changes will be announced via email and in-dashboard notification.
Your Privacy Rights (GDPR/CCPA)
Under GDPR (EU) and CCPA (California), you have the right to:
- Know what cookies we use and why
- Block or delete non-essential cookies through your browser settings
- Request deletion of data collected via cookies
For more information, see our Privacy Policy.
