What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, phone, tablet) when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences and whether you are signed in.
Example: When you sign in to SpiderLabs, we store a session cookie so you don’t have to sign in again every time you switch pages. Our public pages set no cookies of their own.
The cookie we set
This cookie is essential: without it you cannot stay signed in, so it cannot be turned off while you use the dashboard.

Analytics and advertising cookies
We do not set analytics or advertising cookies. If we add an analytics tool in the future, we will list its cookies here and ask for consent where required before any are set.
Cookies set by other services
Some services we work with set their own cookies:
Calendly (scheduling)
- Loads only when you press Contact us: its booking page opens in a window on our page
- May set its own cookies there, and shows its own cookie choices
- Calendly privacy notice
Stripe (payment processing)
- Sets cookies on its checkout to prevent fraud when you pay for your account
- Essential for payment security

Supabase (sign in)
- Runs our sign in; the session cookie above is its own
- Required for security and cannot be disabled

Vercel (hosting)
- Hosts the site and protects it from attacks; it sets no analytics cookies for us
- If it ever has to check that a visitor is a person during an attack, it may set a security cookie

How to manage cookies
Because we do not set analytics or advertising cookies, we do not show a cookie banner. Calendly shows its own cookie choices when you open it. If we add cookies that require consent in the future, we will ask before setting them.
Browser settings
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third party cookies
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies
Warning: Blocking the session cookie will prevent you from signing in to SpiderLabs. The dashboard cannot work without it.
Do Not Track (DNT)
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Because we do not set analytics or advertising cookies, there is no tracking to turn off in response to DNT today. The session cookie and your preferences stay, because signing in and the choices you made need them. If we add analytics in the future, we will state how DNT is handled here.
Updates to this policy
We may update this Cookie policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last revised.
Material changes will be announced by email and in your dashboard.
Your privacy rights (GDPR and CCPA)
Under GDPR (EU) and CCPA (California), you have the right to:
- Know what cookies we use and why
- Block or delete cookies that are not essential through your browser settings
- Request deletion of data collected via cookies
